I know very little about the ’Wizardry Empire’ series but since there are apparently Empire games for both GBC PSX PS2 and PSP I guess that says something about the Japanese affection for everything even remotely related to the ’Wizardry’ franchise． The graphical style is a bit more Anime than Medieval in ’Empire’ but the basic gameplay seem very similar to an early pre-Bradley PC Wizardry game． The first person perspective dungeon exploration is certainly intact and the town menu looks closely modeled on the towns in Wizardry 1-3 (temple inn trading post training grounds etc．)．
